With Tellepsen serving as general contractor, Houston Baptist University broke ground on the $23 million Morris Family Center for Law & Liberty Complex on March 2.
The buildings will cover 2 acres and span 37,726 square feet. The main building, Independence Hall, will be 16,547 square feet, while the two attached side buildings will be 1,351 square feet each. A separate classroom building will be 18,477 square feet. A second classroom building is planned for the future but no further details were available.
