About the Project

The Harris County ESD #9 project consists of a renovation to an existing tilt-wall warehouse of 75,000 square feet, which includes office space and a fleet storage area. There are two additions to the facility; a 15,000 SF tilt-wall which will serve as fleet maintenance and a 7,000 SF pre-engineered metal building which serves as fleet storage. Overall, the building houses administration office space, an emergency operations center, back-up dispatch, fleet storage, and fleet maintenance. Site development consisted of grading, installation of water systems, wastewater systems, and natural gas lines. The mechanical yard includes a 140’ Motorola Tower with a foundation which allows for future extension to 280’. The tower provides a two-way radio between Cy Fair Fire Department and Harris County ESD #9.
