About the Project

The 64,000 square foot research and development facility was constructed under a fast track schedule. Completed in seven months, the facility includes copper shielded rooms that house scanning electron microscopes. The research environment required complex mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems with over 500 floor and 300 roof penetrations. Despite the very aggressive schedule, the project was completed substantially below the total authorized maximum amount.
