About the Project
Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine conceived the Jan & Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute to build on their strengths in genetics, neuroscience and pediatrics. The institute, commonly known as the NRI, is carefully designed to foster collaboration among faculty and clinician-scientists with the goal of developing treatments for childhood neurological diseases. Core research laboratories specifically support translational neuroscience research. World-renowned researchers from a range of scientific disciplines come together in this facility to contribute their specific expertise and accelerate the pace of discovery in pediatric neurological disorders.
