About the Project

Texas Children’s Hospital is at the top of the list when it comes to pediatric health care. In an effort to expand care in the greater Houston area, a new Woodlands campus was built to serve the pediatric medical needs in the community. Opened in January 2017, the Woodlands facility is a free-standing children’s hospital designed specifically to provide comprehensive patient care to children and their families. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient specialty pediatric care in a 6-story, 30,000-square-foot medical office building. The project also included a 7-story, 1,200 space parking garage, a 5-story, 350.000-square-foot in-patient hospital building, and a one story, 30,000-square-foot central plant. The hospital also includes advanced diagnostic imaging, therapeutic, surgical and ancillary facilities. The child-friendly park-like environment puts children at ease during treatment and hospital visits.
